At this year’s Vancouver Comic Art Festival, Jason Turner and I are hosting a comic jam for VanCAF attendees. We’ll be there on Saturday July 4, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM in Room C. For all the details and more events, check out the full schedule on the VanCAF website.
Don’t know what a comic jam is? A comic jam is where you draw one panel of the comic and pass it to the next person and they continue the story and so on until the page is complete. Sometimes the resulting comics are brilliant! More often, they’re a mess! Either way, it’s a good time! I wrote more about comic jams over here.
And if you can’t make it to this particular comic jam, I encourage you to join us at the regular monthly Vancouver Comic Jam (for grownups only, because there are beers).
I don’t have a table at this year’s festival, so I won’t be selling books. But if you have one of my books that you’d like me to sign, bring it to the jam and I will happily draw something in it!
